Barcelona dominates Zalgiris in Game 1

FC Barcelona claimed a dominant victory in the first game of the 2023 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Playoffs against Zalgiris Kaunas.

Barca set a new EuroLeague record by going a perfect 21-for-21 from the free-throw line and secured the victory with 14 three-pointers.

Sertac Sanli led the way with 17 points, followed by Nikola Mirotic with 15 points, Rokas Jokubaitis with 12, and Alex Abrines and Kyle Kuric with 10 apiece. Ignas Brazdeikis scored a team-high 14 points for Zalgiris, while Dovydas Giedraitis added 10.

Barca took the lead early on and never let go, opening up a sizeable gap and maintaining their dominance throughout the game, leading by 17 points at halftime and ultimately winning 91-69. Zalgiris will be hoping for a better display in the next game.
