Tom Thibodeau: I thought Mitchell Robinson set the tone

The Knicks are through to the Eastern Conference Semifinals for the first time since 2013 after eliminating the Cavaliers in five games in the first round.

New York built an early lead in the first quarter (33-26) of Game 5 and kept control for the rest of the game, winning it 105-96.

Mitchell Robinson was one the key contributors for the Knicks. He finished the game with a double-double of 13 points and 18 rebounds in 36 minutes of play.

Knicks head coach Tom Thibodeau praised the 25-year-old center for setting the tone in Game 5. “I thought Mitch set the tone,” Thibodeau said about Robinson, via Ian Begley.
