Panathinaikos close to Raduljica, only the official announcement left

Panathinaikos has agreed terms with Serbian Center Miroslav Raduljica. His career started the best way possible since he climbed to the top of Europe in 2005 with his U-18 National Team and two years later Serbia U-19 were crowned as World Champions. In 2008 they won the FIBA Europe Under-20 Championship, with Raduljica being the MVP of the competition.

During the summer of 2010, he signed a 5-year deal with Efes Pilsen but for the next 3 years he was sent on loan in Alba Berlin, Partizan and Azovmash.

In 2013 he decided to try his luck across Atlantic, joining the Milwaukee Bucks, but the organization had a bad season with Raduljica being unable to shine. He was traded to the Clippers but he did not play.

Things were very different when he wore the Serbian National team shirt, and in 2014 he boosted his team to the 2nd place of the FIBA World Championship with 14 points and 4.6 rebounds in 9 tournament games. After his great tournament, he singed a wealthy contract in China, for the Shandong Lions where he averaged 18 points and 9 rebounds per game in 14 caps.

The 27-years old, 2.13m. tall Center has agreed terms with Panathinaikos and will be coached by Sasa Djordjevic who is also his coach for the Serbian National team. All that is left is the official announcement.
