De’Aaron Fox on what went wrong for Kings in Game 4

The Kings are back to square one after wasting a 2-0 lead in the first round series against the Warriors. So far both teams defended their home court, winning twice in front of their fans.

De’Aaron Fox, who scored game-high 38 points in Game 4, talked about what went wrong for Sacramento that resulted in the loss.

“I think the third quarter they really hit us. I think we were up 4 at halftime and started the four we’re down by 10. They had a great quarter in the third,” Fox said.

“I think the way that we came out today. Obviously, it’s a game of runs, but we had just too many mental lapses to where we couldn’t basically get over the hump, get a double-digit lead and just try to build off of that. And obviously, this is the defending champs and they made us pay.”
