Amid the Game 4 defeat against the Golden State Warriors, Keegan Murray is happy to slash his playoff slump and deliver a positive performance for the Kings.

The rookie forward had a significant 23-point output on the losing effort. He churned a 9-of-13 shooting (5-of-7 threes) and grabbed seven boards in 33 minutes of action.

“I’ve just tried to be more aggressive throughout the playoffs and I knew eventually I’d catch my stride on the offensive end, so it’s just a matter of time and I came in confident,” Murray said.

Murray had an uncharacteristic 3-of-13 towards the first three games of the first-round series against the Kings, and his hot shooting night can’t be more impressively good at the side of coach Mike Brown.

“Obviously to see the game that we got on Keegan, he was fantastic tonight,” said of Brown on Murray.

Murray and the Kings will look to outlast the surging Warriors on the Wednesday Game 5 after falling down in the two-straight nights in San Francisco.
