Devin Booker isn’t sweating on the Phoenix Suns’ Game 1 crumble against the L.A. Clippers, 115-110, in their first-round series matchup.

“We understand it is not going to be easy,” Booker said, per Associated Press’ David Brandt. “It gets harder from here. Thinking back to my first [playoffs], every loss is the worst thing ever and every win you are going to win the rest of them. That’s just how the playoffs go.”

The Suns were shocked by the Clippers team that entered the series set to have no Paul George (knee) for the rest of the seven-game matchup. They went down for as much as 16 in the first half and failed to complete comeback attempts down the line.

Booker was ultimately blocked by Russell Westbrook in his late shot attempt to put Phoenix closer against L.A. He got an enticing perspective regarding the play that sent the Clips away holding the first blood series win.

“I don’t know how the rule works,” Booker said if he felt he got fouled by Westbrook. “I know when you shoot a jump shot they can go hand-to-hand but on the scoop – wrist, hand, you know it’s over with.”
