Jordan Clarkson will enter the final year of his current deal with the Jazz if he chooses to exercises his player option for the 2023-2024 season.

Otherwise, the 30-year-old point guard will become an unrestricted free agent. As his future remains uncertain, he understands that anything can happen.

“I love Utah,” Clarkson said, via Sean Deveney of Heavy.com. “But I mean, it’s a business. I understand it. It is nothing for us to pack up and enjoy another experience anywhere.”

The player also added that one thing that he would miss if he was to leave Utah, is the relationships that he has built with the people there.

This season Clarkson averaged 20.8 points, 4 rebounds and 4.4 assists in 32.6 minutes per game.
