Zach LaVine after Bulls loss vs. Heat: “It hurts a lot”

The season ended for the Bulls with the loss against the Heat in the play-in tournament (91-102). Zach LaVine scored just 15 points for Chicago as he struggled to find his shot (6/21 field goals).

The 28-year-old shooting guard, who averaged 24.8 points, 4.5 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game during the regular season, was disappointed that his team failed to make the playoffs.

“It hurts,” LaVine said, per K.C. Johnson. “I just didn’t shoot the ball well. A lot of good shots that normally go in. It sucks knowing that we were so close. If I make a couple of those, it could be the tipping point. So it hurts a lot.”
