Denver finished first in the Western Conference with 53 wins and 29 losses and will have the home court advantage in the playoffs.
Jokic, who is a two-time league MVP, was asked what it would mean for him to win a championship.
“To be the best on the planet in that moment. The best team on the planet,” he said via Ryan Blackburn.
