Rudy Gobert and Mike Conley were teammates in Utah for three years before the French center was traded to the Timberwolves last summer.
The two players re-united this season when the Jazz traded Mike Conley to Minnesota before the trade deadline.
Gobert says that it was exciting for him to have the 35-year-old point guard on his team again.

“I was just excited,” Gobert told Yahoo Sports. “Mike is one of my favorite human beings.”

“It’s human nature, sometimes we take things for granted. We take our situation or our teammates, the connection that we had, our friends and family, we take a lot of things for granted,” Gobert said. “And when it’s not there anymore, you realize what you had.”
