Austin Reaves delivered another big performance for the Lakers as he scored 28 points and dished out 6 assists in the overtime win over the Jazz (135-133).
It was the 8th time this season when the 24-year-old shooting guard scored 20 or more points for Los Angeles.
Lakers head coach Darvin Ham praised Reaves during the postgame press conference.
“He’s been playmaking for sure,” he said about the player. “Not only his scoring, but just him setting up his teammates, scrapping defensively, drawing charges. Just a blue collar kid that loves to hoop. He’s highly, highly, highly competitive. He’s been a huge boost for us here.”
This season Reaves is averaging 12.5 points, 3 rebounds and 3.3 assists in 28.4 minutes per game.
