Pistons GM: “We are all disappointed with our record this season”

For the fourth straight year the Pistons failed to make the postseason. The team has reached the playoffs just twice since 2009.

Detroit is currently in a rebuilding mode and is focused on developing its young players. This season the Pistons are set to finish at the bottom of the Eastern Conference with the worst record in the entire league.

But prioritizing development of young players does not mean that the organization is happy with its record, says the team’s general manager Troy Weaver.

“Make no mistake – we are all disappointed with our record this season but are confident that we continue to be on the right path to success,” Weaver said, via NBA.com.
