Lakers’ guard Lonnie Walker IV is an athletic player who makes highlights during games. In a recent interview he revealed that he could take part in next year’s NBA Dunk Contest.
“I was considering this year, but I’m highly considering next year to join the Dunk Contest,” Walker said. “I would love to though.”
Walker began this season as a starter for Los Angeles, but has seen his role diminish over the course of the year. It is not rare that he doesn’t even come off the bench in games now.
This season the 24-year-old player is averaging 12 points, 2 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 23.8 minutes per game.
