LeBron James came off the bench to play 30 minutes and scored 19 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in the loss against the Bulls (108-118). It was his first game in four weeks.
After the game he answered questions from the media and was asked about the severity of his injury and how he felt playing against Chicago.
“I felt okay,” James said. “Obviously, the rhythm is the most important. I had couple drives and the ball got away from me, couple shots didn’t feel as good as before obviously.
“I was out for four weeks. Between that and the wind, just got to get those things back leading to the final stretch of the season.”
“I tore a tendon in my foot,” LeBron said when asked about the severity of his injury. He also revealed that two doctors recommended him taking a surgery but he declined. An offseason surgery is a possibility though.
This season the four-time NBA champion is averaging 29.5 points, 8.4 rebounds and 6.9 assists in 36.1 minutes per game.
