Julius Randle scored career-high 57 points against the Timberwolves but the Knicks still lost the game (134-140).
New York’s head coach Tom Thibodeau thought it was a waste of a performance since the team ended up losing anyway.
“It’s a shame to waste a performance like that,” Thibodeau said after the game. “He scored the ball. You couldn’t ask for anything more. But we were careless with the ball and we turned the ball over.
“They got great size. All we had to do is keep making the simple play. We got to make better decisions.”
