The Grizzlies defeated the Mavericks 112-108 to win the regular season series 3-1. After the game, Dillon Brooks wanted to swap jerseys with Kyrie Irving but was left hanging by the Dallas superstar.
Irving said he was already thinking about the next game and didn’t even see that Brooks was offering him a jersey swap.
“I saw that after the game. I’ll probably get it next time. Probably next time. Not this time. I was really onto the next thing, thought process-wise,” Kyrie said, per Gran Afseth.
Previously, Brooks commented that he wants to pick Irving full-court defensively until the point guard gets tired.
