A buzzer-beating three-pointer by Maxi Kleber led the Mavericks to a one-point win over the Lakers (111-110).

Anthony Davis, who led Los Angeles with 26 points and 10 rebounds, said after the game that the loss was tough.

Not only by the fact that his team lost, but also because the Lakers would have moved to the seventh place with a win.

“We’re going to go back look at the film things we can get better at for Sunday,” AD said. “Fought hard to get back into the game. That’s a tough one. Especially when everyone is losing… I guess it’s tough one. We’ll look at it tomorrow and get ready for Sunday for a must win…

“There’s nothing we can do about it. It happened. Our focus is now Sunday trying to get a win against Orlando. This one is tough just the way it ended. And also I think other team’s lost I think in this game with a win would have put us in seventh. It’s tough all across the board.”
