Russell Westbrook: “I’m actually tired of that conversation of how teams play me”

Russell Westbrook is not know for being a reliable shooter. Some teams like to gamble and leave him open.

A prime example of that was the game between the Clippers and Warriors in which Golden State’s players ignored Russ in defence, leaving him wide open at the three-point line.

It affects how the Clippers use Westbrook as well. With Kawhi Leonard and Paul George on the roster, Russ is given a role of a playmaker and pushing the tempo.

“I’m actually tired of that conversation of how teams play me, and ‘I don’t do sh*t’ — I just hoop,” the former league MVP said after the Sacramento game, per Law Murray.

Westbrook is averaging 13.4 points, 4.4 rebounds and 7.4 assists in 29.2 minutes per game since joining the Clippers.
