Damon Stoudamire ‘strong candidate’ for Georgia Tech gig

The Boston Celtics assistant coach Damon Stoudamire is considered a “strong candidate” to become the next head coach at Georgia Tech, tweets Jeff Goodman of Stadium.

The school released Josh Pastner on Friday after a 15-18 campaign. He had just three winning seasons and one NCAA Tournament appearance in seven years with the Yellow Jackets.
