Anthony Davis scored 17 points on 8/18 shooting and grabbed 16 rebounds as the Lakers lost to the Knicks at home (108-112).

After the game the 30-year-old forward took the blame for the loss. “My play,” AD said what changed since the last game. “I played terrible. Couldn’t find my shot. Free-throws, layups, everything.

“The guys did their job. I didn’t do my job tonight… [I could have done better] everything. I think I did pretty good defensively. Offensively I wasn’t there. Like I said, free-throws, layups, the handle, shots. It’s everything offensively.

“Like I said, the guys played well tonight, did their job. Dennis, D-Lo, Austin, Wenyen, Rui – all these guys – did more than enough to help win the game. I didn’t do my part.”

This season Davis is averaging 26.1 points, 12.4 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 33.4 minutes per game.
