After missing a bunch of games, Kyle Lowry has travelled with the Miami Heat and is announced set to make his return against the Orlando Magic this Saturday, per Ira Winderman of South Florida Sun-Sentinel.

Lowry has been absent from the Heat’s lineup since Feb. 2 due to lingering left knee soreness, missing 15 critical games for the club. Despite this, no minute restriction will be applied on the side of the point guard as told by coach Erik Spoelstra in pregame.

“He’s good to go. There’s not a minutes restriction, but we will be mindful,” Spoelstra told reporters.

On the given stretch, both Lowry and Heat faced various speculations about their partnership, including trade rumors and potential team suspension due to conditioning problems of the veteran. He will remain under contract until next season ($29.6 million).

As such, Lowry’s return can’t be more timely with the Heat stepping on deep water in the East. They occupy the Conference’s seventh-best record with 36-32 and remain in danger of potentially dropping down should defeats pile up.

The former All-Star is averaging 12.0 points in 39 percent shooting – the lowest since his rookie year – this season per 44 games. He is also dropping 5.3 assists and 1.1 steals.
