Arturas Gudaitis will battle on the other side of the barricades next season. The 22-year-old agreed to a 2+1 deal with arch rivals of his former team.

The 47th draft pick by the Philadelphia 76ers in this year’s NBA Draft who was traded to the Sacramento Kings last night will stay in Europe for at least two more years.

For the first time in LKL history a player moved from Zalgiris to Lietuvos Rytas or vice versa for buy-out. Rytas had to pay 250,000 Euros to get Gudaitis from Zalgiris. However, Rytas paid only 40,000 Euros, the remaining part of the amount was paid by the player.

Gudaitis spent the past two seasons in Zalgiris and has established himself as a backup center to Robertas Javtokas. His role shouldn’t change much in Vilnius with Antanas Kavaliauskas being the main center and one of the key pieces of the team.
