CSKA easily, Siena hardly, Barca steal home advantage

Matjaz SmodisThree Play-off games in Europe tonight. In Russia, Champions of Europe, CSKA Moscow won easily Khimki 97-76 in the first game (best of 5) in the final. It was all Messina's company in the game from the beginning, when Smodis and Andersen did what ever they like. Smodis with 26 points and Andersen 17 to CSKA, while Tucker scores 15 to Khimki.

In Italy, the champion, Siena had to work very hard to beat Milano 75-71. Melvin Booker was all to the visitors in the first half that end 37-36 to Milano. McIntyre was unstopble in the second half with good play by Ksistof Lavrinovic, and Siena hold on to take 1-0 advantage in the Semi's (best of 5).

Barcelona made a huge step to the Euroleague next season after great win in Badalona 93-90 and stole the home advantage from Juventut. Lakovic was incredible in Barca with 23 points, while Alex Acker was even better with 20 points, 6 reb and 5 ass to Barca. Rudy Fernandez made another day in the office with 30, Moiso with 20, but without any help from their teammates. Barca is 1-0 up in best of 3.
