Barring injuries and other potential setbacks, Stephen Curry is eyeing a return to the Golden State Warriors on Sunday versus the Los Angeles Lakers, TNT’s Chris Haynes reported in the middle of the Warriors’ home match against the L.A. Clippers on Thursday.

Initial reports suggest that Curry could be back sometime next week, but this latest update can only provide an uplifting sensation for the Warriors faithful.

Curry has now missed ten-consecutive games for the Dubs as he continues to be back in condition upon sustaining a leg injury last Feb. 5 against the Dallas Mavericks.

Golden State, amid his absence, proceeded to register a 5-4 record on the nine-game stretch behind the lead of Klay Thompson. The reigning defending champs also improved their ranking as they are now the West’s fifth-seed and boasting a 32-30 record.

The future Hall of Famer is averaging 29.4 points this season while dishing out 6.4 assists and grabbing 6.3 boards in 38 games played. He is also shooting 49.5 percent from the field and draining 42.7 percent of his shots in the three-point territory.
