Jae Crowder is not thinking ahead of his future as he is looking to get even more familiarized while providing his help within the Milwaukee Bucks camp.

Crowder told HoopsHype’s Mike Scotto that obtaining an NBA title remains at the top of his priority list, which he noted as a significant element that may likely determine his next contract status.

“I think this team has what it takes to win a championship,” Crowder said. “That’s my main goal right now. I think once you win a championship, the rest of that stuff will take care of itself. My main goal, honestly, is not thinking about free agency or the summer. It’s all about winning the championship.

“I think that’s our locker room goal, and when I came into it, I knew that was the goal of the team.”

Crowder, who is an expiring asset, notably sat down and agreed with the Phoenix Suns to work for a trade. Past reports suggest that he was frustrated in his downgraded role in the club, with him vying to get paid and maximize his value.

The Bucks are 4-0 upon the activation of Crowder to their lineup, as they are also currently holding the league’s best 45-17 record and steamrolling with a 16-game win streak.
