The Milwaukee Bucks are waiving Sandro Mamukelashvili, the team officially announced Wednesday.

Per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Bucks have worked with Mamukelashvili’s representatives to try to find considerable options for the big man in the future. It is yet to be seen where he will land upon clearing waivers.

Mamukelashvili, 23, entered the league as a four-year wonder from Seton Hall as the Bucks’ second-round selection from last year. Amid garnering high hopes from Milwaukee fans, he wasn’t able to gain much playing time from coach Mike Budenholzer on a two-way basis, averaging just 3.2 points and 2.1 boards in 65 total career games played.

Bucks being the most veteran-laden team in the league has mightily contributed to Mamukelashvili’s lack of exposure, as he was also behind Giannis Antetokounmpo, Brook Lopez, and Bobby Portis in their frontcourt depth.
