Patrick Beverley revealed interesting details about his trade from the Lakers to the Magic. According to the 34-year-old point guard, he was the one that made a request to be traded.

“To some people, it can be that Pat Bev got traded when in all reality it was like ‘I don’t like what was going on and let’s find a better home for me,'” Beverley said on his own podcast. “Not so that ‘Okay, he ain’t good enough, let’s get rid of him.’ All that sh*t was my decision.”

Beverley averaged 6.4 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.6 assists in 26.9 minutes per game for the Lakers. He has played three games for the Bulls so far this season, averaging 5.3 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 3 assists per game.
