Following Saturday’s 95-91 road win vs. the Detroit Pistons, Toronto Raptors head coach Nick Nurse talked about the team’s current rhythm (4-game winning streak).

(via Toronto Raptors):

Reporter: “Coach, you’ve won 7 of the last 8 games now. What’s been working?”

Nurse: “We’re playing pretty solidly at the defensive end I think with some intensity and some disruptiveness like we want to. It wasn’t a great offensive night. We didn’t shoot it very well, we didn’t finish very well, we didn’t shoot free throws very well, but I liked how we played. I thought we were getting the ball to where it should go almost 90% of the possessions. There were five or six probably where I would’ve said maybe one more action before we looked at it. So that’s it, man. You gotta guard and you gotta kinda keep executing, trying to create the right shots. And when you guard really good, when you don’t make them, you still have a chance. And we snuck one out today.”
