Damian Lillard has remained loyal to the Trail Blazers so far throughout his NBA career. This is his eleventh year in Portland.

The 32-year-old point guard became an All-Star for the seventh time in his career this season. He still feels is not getting the credit that he deserves.

According to Lillard, that would change if he wins a championship with the Trail Blazers.

“They’ll never give me credit for what I’ve actually done,” he said on Point Forward podcast. “Unless I just come out here and win a championship in Portland. And they better hope I don’t win. They better pray I don’t win a championship for the Blazers.”

This season Lillard is averaging career-high 21.4 points, 4.3 rebounds and 7.3 assists in 36.2 minutes per game.
