Josh Hart has been added by the Knicks and has already made his New York debut against Utah Jazz. Damian Lillard, his former Portland teammate, has warned for New York due to Josh’s current contract situation.
“He’s probably going to opt out of the deal that he has now, and you have to assume he’s going to be wanted in the open market,” Lillard said, via Stefan Bondy of the Daily News, “and there’s a chance you lose a player like that if you’re not going to match that number.”
Josh Hart replied to Lillard and also reassured the Knicks by stating that he intends to find his new home in New York.
