The Lakers re-shuffled their roster before the trade deadline as they acquired six new players, including Rui Hachimura who joined the team in January.
Lakers head coach Darvin Ham was asked about how he plans to utilize the new players after the loss against the Bucks.
“Just looking at the unique styles of play that each individual brings and try to create some sort of balance,” he said. “You don’t want too many carbon copies of the same type of player. So you try to balance it out with some offense and defense, some shooting, some rebounding. And definitely some defense first and foremost.
“We see different pieces that we may be able to plug in and have that create that balance not just within the starting lineup, but within the whole rotation. It will be a fun job, a fun tax mix and match the guys we have already with some of the new guys we have acquired.”
