Few would argue that Russell Westbrook was not the best fit for the Lakers. After 18 months on the team, the former NBA MVP was traded to the Jazz, ending a tumultuous spell in Los Angeles.
According to an anonymous source from the team, Russ was not just a bad fit basketball-wise, but was also a ‘vampire’ in locker room. This quote which was published by Dave McMenamin of ESPN drew a reaction from Westbrook’s wife Nina.
“I have school aged children who have to listen to their peers repeat the nasty things that you guys say on television about their father. I guess I will prepare myself to explain to my 5 year old that his dad is not actually a vampire,” she wrote on Instagram.
