Dallas Mavericks head coach Jason Kidd believes Luka Doncic is ready to show that he can coexist at an elite level alongside new backcourt mate Kyrie Irving.

“They both are going to be playmakers. Just understanding Ky has played every role, he’s also played in Cleveland I think by himself. So just understanding he’s a basketball player, understands the game at a very high level, and is about winning. It’s not where he has to get used to playing with another star, he’s done this most of his career with the greatest. So I think this is a great challenge for Luka, and I think Luka is up for the challenge to show that he can play with another superstar.”
