The first game for the Nets after trading Kyrie Irving to the Mavericks will be against the Clippers. At least two players will be absent for Brooklyn.

Currently, Kevin Durant (right knee MCL sprain) and Seth Curry (left adductor strain) are listed as out on the injury report. In addition, Ben Simmons (left knee soreness) is listed as questionable and T.J. Warren (left shin contusion) is probable.

It remains to be seen whether the team’s new additions Spencer Dinwiddie and Dorian Finney-Smith will be available for the game. The latter could be moved to another team.

For the Clippers the only player listed on the injury report is John Wall (abdominal soreness). The point guard is also a trade candidate.

Brooklyn is currently fourth in the Eastern Conference with 32 wins and 20 losses, while Los Angeles (30-26) occupies the same spot in the West.

Ahead of tonight’s game, the Clippers are considered favorites amongst bookmakers, with NBA lines site Betway pricing them at -225 to beat the Nets. The NBA odds for Brooklyn to win this game are at +230.
