There appears to be mutual interest between Kyrie Irving and the Lakers after the 2016 NBA champion requested to be traded from the Nets.
Any trade that would send Irving to Los Angeles would include Russell Westbrook. According to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype, the Lakers would want to take Joe Harris along with Kyrie.
This season Harris is averaging 8.5 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 24.5 minutes per game. He would be a useful piece for the Lakers that are in need of shooting.
In addition, it is most likely that a third team, such as the Spurs, would be needed to take on Westbrook’s contract.
