LeBron James is just 63 points away from overtaking Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as the NBA all-time leading scorer.

The Lakers superstar is on pace to break the record next week in the game against the Thunder. However, theoretically James could do it on Saturday against the Pelicans.

He was asked if he thinks he would be able to score 63 points in a game. LeBron’s response was affirmative.

“Yeah, I do. I don’t know would it happen on Saturday, but yeah,” the four-time NBA champion said.

This season James is averaging 30.1 points, 8.5 rebounds and 7.1 assists in 36.4 minutes per game.
