Spurs’ rookie Jeremy Sochan continues to improve. He has been scoring no less than 14 points for the last 7 games, including career-high 30 points in the loss against the Suns.

San Antonio head coach Gregg Popovich likes what he sees from the 19-year-old forward, who in way reminds him of Many Ginobili.

“He’s wild,” Popovich said about Sochan, per Matthew Tynan. “He’s doing whatever he wants. I just love watching him. It’s kinda like watching Manu when we first got him — I have no idea what he’s gonna do.

“He brings it up and plays point when Tre (Jones) is out of the game, he does a little bit of everything. He’s really a competitive young man with a lot of skills that are just not honed and perfected … but he’s hungry, and he wants to be really good.”

This season Sochan is averaging 10 points, 5 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 26.2 minutes per game.
