Tom Thibodeau on Mitchell Robinson: “He’s feeling good”

The New York Knicks big man Mitchell Robinson has been out since he suffered the injury on Jan. 18 vs. the Washington Wizards.

“Just going to be re-examined. He’s running, he’s doing what he can,” Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau said. “It’s obviously his hand, so he’s doing conditioning. Once he gets reexamined we’ll know more. When he’s cleared, he’s cleared.”

As for when the thumb will be looked at again, Thibodeau couldn’t provide an exact date.

“He’s feeling good, doing all that he can,” he said. “When the medical people clear him, then he’s got to go through contact and that’ll be the next step.”
