Anthony Davis came off the bench in his first game since mid-December as the Lakers defeated the Spurs (113-104).

Despite not playing huge minutes (26), the 29-year-old power forward was the team’s top scorer with 21 points. He also added 12 rebounds.

Lakers head coach Darvin Ham was very pleased with how Davis performed against San Antonio, giving an A+ evaluation.

“I thought he looked good,” he said. “You could tell a few possessions there was a little timing issue and whatnot. But overall great, A+.

“He just makes the game look so easy, takes so much pressure off us defensively, offensively. You can go to him, he can score at all three levels, just being really aggressive and re-submerging himself into the system, into the game action.”

This season Davis is averaging 27.4 points, 12.1 rebounds and 2.6 assists in 33.4 minutes per game.
