One Eastern Conference contender expressed interest in Naz Reid

With Naz Reid gaining significant plenty of trade interest, one contending team also made a lookout regarding his availability.

Per Kevin O’Connor of The Ringer, the Brooklyn Nets have “inquired” about the Minnesota Timberwolves about Reid.

Reid, 23, was reportedly being eyed by the Denver Nuggets and the Los Angeles Clippers as told by HoopsHype’s Mike Scotto.

As such, it makes no wonder why he is being viewed as a key asset to acquire. The young big man is set to become an unrestricted free agent and is a serviceable presence down low based on the provisions he gave as a backup for Karl-Anthony Towns last few years and now with Rudy Gobert this season.

In the case of the Nets, who are desperately seeking big enforcers, he could also be that wonderful support behind Nic Claxton at the frontcourt.

This 2022-23, Reiz is averaging 10.2 points, 5.8 boards, and 53.7 percent shooting in 17.9 minutes played.
