Jae Crowder’s ongoing inactivity raising eyebrows from interested teams

The ongoing sit-out of Jae Crowder has left hefty speculation in teams that are interested in his service.

As he is still away from the Phoenix Suns, potential trade suitors have developed questions regarding his capability to perform and attain that needed full condition should he be able to land with a new team this season (h/t Marc Stein).

With the NBA slowly advancing to the middle portion of the 2022-23 season, Crowder remains away from his basketball duties. It was at the start of the season’s training camp that the embattled veteran agreed with the Suns to work for a trade, with him turning down a rumored bench role for his third year in the club.

The Suns remain looking for a perfect trade partner to finally ship Crowder, but their intentions to land a strong return remains in question given the fact that he is an expiring asset and would be a risky one also due to the ongoing inactivity he is showing away from competitive basketball.

Still, Crowder remains coveted given his experience and 3-and-D tendencies as a big-body stretch forward. Though there could be doubts whirling around interested organizations around him, they seem to still stick their desire around – with him being a proven contributor and a necessity due to his versatility and timely skills he offers in today’s game.
