Tempers have flared in the middle of the Memphis Grizzlies and Los Angeles Lakers duel on Friday with Shannon Sharpe and Tee Morant headlining the incident.

As the halftime buzzer sounded with the Lakers down by four against the Grizzlies, 53-49, Dillon Brooks and Ja Morant went barking at Sharpe as they were heading to the dugout.

Suddenly, Steven Adams charged his way to the former football superstar which prompted an altercation. Suddenly, Tee Morant came in from the side and went on also against Sharpe.

The security slid in in a large group to separate the involved figures. Amid what happened, Sharpe and the elder Morant remained in their seats for the remainder of the match and went on to patch the small misunderstanding.

In an interview with ESPN’s Dave McMenamin, the NFL icon made it known that the conflict started with a trash talk surrounding LeBron James.

Meanwhile, Tee Morant told Bleacher Report’s Chris Haynes that what happened can now be buried as it was only a misunderstanding from both sides.

The Lakers went on to win the match in a thrilling come-from-behind performance, 122-121, led by Dennis Schroder’s two-way heroics. As such, the Grizzlies’ 11-game win streak was deleted in Los Angeles in a late blunder.
