The Dallas Mavericks rank 29th in defensive rating in January and have allowed 406 points over their last three games. Dallas head coach Jason Kidd likened the team’s defense to a “shootaround.”
Reggie Bullock shared his thoughts on what the Mavs’ defense needs: “Just about effort – being locked in. The coaches are giving us the game plan. It’s about us going out and executing it. They are over-preparing us. It’s just all about (the players) trying to listen and do it.”
