John Wall shares warning about Rockets backcourt duo of Jalen Green and Kevin Porter Jr.

John Wall has some truthful advice and assessment for the young backcourt tandem of Jalen Green and Kevin Porter Jr. in the Houston Rockets.

Wall, who managed to be teammates with both for the previous two seasons before landing in the L.A. Clippers, shared his harsh, yet factual words for the two.

“Don’t get adjusted to this losing s**t. It’s not what the league is,” Wall said. “But at the same time, I had to tell them like, ‘The sh*t y’all getting away with over here, if you go to any other teams, you’d be out the f**king league. You wouldn’t play.”

After being spoiled by James Harden, Houston painfully entered a new age of their franchise history that focuses on the foundation of their next future. As such, both Green and Porter Jr. are their current project players in this ongoing rebuild.

With hopes that they’ll be able to fully develop, losing has been a challenge for the club’s growth. Currently, no significant improvement changes have been happening in H-town, as they are continuing to slide down with a league-worst 10-34 record this season.

Though they do possess talented and high potential traits, many are raising eyebrows at their still immature style of plays. Both Green and Porter Jr. are redundantly ball-dominant guards and have been flagged by criticisms due to their undisciplined approach towards the game.

Thankfully enough, the promising duo is still on its way towards improvement, and the Rockets organization has to do nothing but build a solid culture and veteran presence around them as time progresses.
