Draymond Green on Warriors defeating Spurs in Alamodome

The Warriors did not have trouble beating the Spurs (144-113) at Alamodome in front of NBA attendance-record-setting 68,323 fans.

Draymond Green, who had 6 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists in this game, compared the experience to playing in NCAA Final Four.

“It kind of felt like playing in the Final Four all over again,” Green said. “So it was definitely a cool experience. I’m glad that we could be a part of it.”

“It definitely felt like a Final Four game,” he added later. “The atmosphere was great. Even with us playing the way we did and the score being the way it was, they were still loud, they were still into the game enjoying every second of it.

“So that was absolute great atmosphere to be a part of. You don’t get these opportunities often, so happy we were the opposing team that was able to have this opportunity to set and attendance record for an NBA game.”
