Jae Crowder ‘confused and hurt’ coaches didn’t appreciate what he brought to Suns

Jae Crowder remains inactive this season as he awaits for the Suns to find a suitable trade for him. Several teams are reportedly interested in the 32-year-old power forward, but no deal has been made yet.

In a recent interview Crowder opened up about why he chose not to play for Phoenix this season, saying that it has nothing to do with his contractual situation.

He is in the final year of a three-year contract and will become an unrestricted free agent in summer.

Via Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report:

“I will continue to prepare myself daily for battle once the call is made and continue to be a leader on the court, locker room, as well as off the court. I am thankful my teammates appreciated my leadership. I’m confused and hurt my coaches didn’t appreciate the things I brought to our team and organization. And this has nothing to do with financial or contract differences.”
