After scoring 50 points twice, 60 points and 32-plus points over a five-game stretch, Luka Doncic was limited to 23 points as the Mavericks were crushed by the Celtics (124-95).
Doncic revealed that he has been feeling sick which bothered him during the game. He bounced back with a 34/10/10 triple-double against the Pelicans.
“A little sick, probably. Just allergies, so I’ve been taking some medicine,” the Slovenian superstar said, per Callie Caplan. “I felt way better, especially today. Yesterday was a little worse.”
This season Doncic is averaging 34 points, 8.8 rebounds and 8.7 assists in 36.9 minutes per game. He leads the NBA in scoring.
