The Celtics recovered from a humiliating defeating against the the Thunder by crushing the Mavericks (124-95). Jayson Tatum led the winners in scoring with 29 points.
He also had 14 rebounds and 10 assists to complete a triple-double. After the game he was asked about a play where he showcased his dribbling skills.
“I’ve got the best handles on the team. That is a fact,” the 24-year-old small forward said. “They can argue with whoever, but that is a fact. There’s only a handful of guys my size in NBA that really really can dribble. That’s something I take pride in being able to really have it on the yo-yo.”
This season Tatum is averaging 30.8 points, 8.1 rebounds and 4 assists in 36.7 minutes per game.
