In certain cases, the Miami Heat will only go all-in for the estranged Jae Crowder.

According to Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald, the Heat will entertain the addition of Crowder should the forward be able to reach out for a buyout with the Phoenix Suns.

“According to someone who has spoken to the Heat’s front office, the Heat remains interested in Jae Crowder, but only in a buyout situation, barring Phoenix shockingly taking a bad contract off Miami’s hands.”

Alongside the likes of the Milwaukee Bucks, Atlanta Hawks, and the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Heat are consistently within the murmurs of the Crowder sweepstakes for the past few months.

The veteran remains away from the Suns’ team activities in hopes of a potential divorce finally happening. The club, for its part, has been searching to find the most ideal return that they can seize from Crowder.

The forward has an expiring $10.2 million deal this season, and a buyout between him and the Suns stands unlikely in hindsight – with the franchise being a contender and looking to capitalize his worth via transactions with other teams

With minimal pieces they can offer and entice to Phoenix brass, Miami can only do nothing but stand around and wait for Crowder to agree to a buyout – which is an improbable scenario for now.
