In the clip below, former NBA All-Star Gilbert Arenas and VladTV host Vladimir Lyubovny, commonly known as DJ Vlad, discuss the evolution of the league’s dress code.

When DJ Vlad states that NBA players today have to wear suits before the street attire that Allen Iverson used to wear during his heyday, Arenas corrects him by saying that the NBA has become more lenient with their guidelines.

He then says that the way Allen Iverson used to dress back in the 2000s before NBA games were remindful of the guys from Dipset.

Moving along, Arenas reveals that the only players who staunchly opposed the NBA’s old dress code about wearing suits were three foreign-born players: Tim Duncan, Dirk Nowitzki, and Steve Nash.
